Marketing and CRM internship • General research of key people within the areas of the 5 conferences under the Leaders banner (Clubs, Federations, Leagues, Brands, and Companies) from different key sources • Maintain and develop extensive online database • Provide support to the marketing team when required • Market research Job Description • Collate all sports business news relevant to the event from newsletters, RSS feeds, google alerts, trade press news services, websites, magazines, and other sources. • Research media partners on relevant events covering the business of sport and find contact details for the publisher, editor, commercial director • Compile a list of employees working in sports (football clubs, federations etc.) internationally by searching websites • Contact a range of Clubs, Leagues, Federations and Brands from a list provided by Leaders in order to verify contact details • Dependent on the internship length, an opportunity may exist to gain work experience within other areas of marketing such as social media, communication or partnerships Job Description: marketing and operations internship • Manage all event enquiries via phone & email • Support event staff onsite as well as pre & post event • Process delegate pass payments • Support the Operations and Marketing departments in the invitation process when required • Work closely alongside all sponsors and suppliers to ensure all deliverables are met • CRM tasks in Marketing • Market Research • Ad-hoc tasks for event operations
