The Role
We are looking for an energetic, professional sales intern to help us sell our product to high street food retailers. We are already stocked in Waitrose but would like to target more food outlets such as health food stores and coffee shops. Your role will be to call up buyers, send out samples to them, and to ultimately secure new stockists. You may also go into stores and cafes to market our product directly. If this excites you, please send me your CV detailing how you might be suitable for the role. We are looking for somebody interested in the food business and keen to learn. You will work quite independently so will need to be self-motivated and organised. An interest in organic food and sustainable packaging would be a plus.

Grasshopper porridge is as easy as it gets, all you need is a spoon and hot water...Shake the pot to mix it up, add boiling water & stir, then put the lid back on & wait. After 5 minutes it is ready to eat, straight from the pot.
Our porridge comes in different flavours & all of them are organic and natural. We don?t use weird GM ingredients or anything that you will have to look up on Wikipedia, just real, natural food. Our packaging is recyclable; even the shrink-wrap sleeve that looks like plastic is actually made from sweet corn (gold star to the crazy scientist who thought that up).
The best part is that all our products are licensed by the Soil Association so our milk comes from dairy herds which comply with the highest standards of animal husbandry in Europe . We love it that Soil Association dairy cows are never tethered & are free to roam (unless they feel like staying indoors!)
Grasshopper Porridge is currently stocked in Waitrose nationwide as well as lots of other Health Food stores.
