Lenstore.co.uk is an online supplier of contact lenses in the UK. The firm was founded in 2007 by a former Strategy Consultant and Oxford Alumnus. Lenstore.co.uk has entered an immature market in the UK with a differentiated customer proposition and business plan. The company has received several unsolicited offers of financing to aid its growth in recent months.

Internship is available immediately and is for 2-6 months beginning Summer 08. Please apply before 31/06/08 for an internship position. Available to final year students / graduates only.

Our entrepreneurial internship / Graduate position will involve a range of inimitable opportunities for a candidate interested in growing a recent revenue ecommerce start up:
1. Online Marketing (Search Engine Optimisation Training & Execution - learn how to drive a website to the top of Google and do it)
2. Operations - Customer Support & Order Fulfillment
3. Business Planning / Assisting with Investor Pitch Presentations - assist the Lenstore.co.uk team in pitching to & screening investors

You will work day to day with the the company founder and will have exposure to the Lenstore.co.uk's first Non-Executive Director, Matthew Stone of ROI Solutions.

Qualities Required:
Interest in internet business & online marketing
Desire to influence & grow a start up with a credible business case
Superb communication skills (oral & written)
Competence with Excel & MS Office (Training Available)
Ability to work within a start up environment (small office space etc...)
Excellent Work Ethic
Willingness to put in hard yards alongside the intellectually stimulating work around online marketing

Remuneration:
Internship - expenses with potential for permanent position
Full Time Position - £15-20k based on experience

We believe the ideal entry route to Lenstore.co.uk is through an exceptional performance during the internship. This will build confidence, credibility (on both sides) and will lead to a more lucrative permanent contract.
