Ultimate Rugby Sevens is seeking a proactive and ambitious talent to join its dynamic team as an intern. UR7s.com is an interactive multimedia and development platform dedicated every level of Rugby Sevens worldwide. It is the sport's most comprehensive source of information, news, media, and discussion, and a promotional tool for tournaments, teams and brands. Launched in BETA in January 2009, UR7s.com is the online home for everything 7s. The selected intern will work primarily with to the Online Marketing Manager to implement our cutting-edge social media marketing and SEO strategy. While a good grasp of social media is a pre-requisite, the successful candidate will receive SEO and online marketing training. Key responsibilities will include: - Interacting in forums across the web - Proactive engagement on Twitter - Identifying and developing relationships with rugby bloggers & forum influencers - Identifying and embracing 7s fans across the web - SEO and link building Candidate requirements: - Good grasp of social media; social networks, blogs, forums - Proactive and interactive in social media - Excellent writing and communication skills - Good grasp of grammar, punctuation and spelling - Commitment to setting and meeting challenging targets - Passion for rugby and a strong network within the international sports community This is a fantastic work experience opportunity in a start-up environment for someone who is passionate about sport and looking to develop a career in online marketing.
