Sustainable biofuels standards - trainee specialist at CleanStar Ventures

We are looking for an extremely intelligent generalist who seeks to carve out a role for themselves as a specialist consultant on sustainable biofuel certification standards. Our group is focused on the transformation of remote rural communities in Asia, Africa and Latin America into valued suppliers in global energy and environmental markets, through the use of sustainable biofuel forestry. We operate through both corporate and non-profit structures, for a variety of reasons. We have existing operations in India, and are currently developing commercial-scale projects in Brazil, Benin, Mozambique, China and Australia. We actively utilize our non-negotiable founding principles to ensure that our projects achieve their blended value potential. The biofuels of tomorrow will need to be produced in accordance with strict sustainability standards in order to gain access to premium price markets like the EU and US. These standards are currently under development by a range of groups in the EU, California, UN and by various actors in the sustainable aviation fuels industry. These standards are still being finalized, so there is no such thing as a \"specialist\" on them as yet. However, we already have need for deployment of specialists to assist in the design of our projects in various parts of Asia, Africa and Latin America. This represents a significant opportunity for someone to build a strong role for themselves within the sustainable biofuels industry, at an early stage of its development. Successful interns who share our values and focus, and are prepared to invest their time and energy with us, will be given the opportunity to design a permanent role for themselves in our organization.
