Enternship: Mint Digital - *Web concept visionary* - full time positionDate added: Sunday, 20th April We are looking for an exceptional person to help develop new web hits. You'll be working closely with Creative Director, Andy Bell, imagining ideas for new social websites and cross-platform events. You'll probably be; very bright, a great writer, passionate about the web, and a thinker of big strange thoughts. You'll be supported by Mint's awesome team of developers and designers. This means many of your concepts may see the sweet light of day. The job is a bit like a development Assistant Producer at an independent TV production firm (but dreaming up web concepts rather than TV shows). You'll spend your time brainstorming, thinking, writing up ideas and meeting potential collaborators. An area of particular interest at Mint is cross-platform formats. Our big aim is to fuse the narrative of TV with the participation of the web to form a new type of cross-platform hit. You'll frequently brainstorm cross-platform concepts with Mint's TV production arm Menthol. This means a keen interest in popular culture is a big plus. You may be inspired by people like Clay Shirky or Tom Coates. Or perhaps you'll come from a totally different perspective (say gaming or product design or theatre production). The ideal candidate will have a couple of years of work experience, would have studied an analytical subject at university and will have experience of computer programming. That said, talent, enthusiasm, energy and ideas are the key requirements. Everything else is optional! Also posted at www.mintdigital.com/jobs | |
