Smarter Housing are looking to recruit 1 student from each of the following universities: Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Coventry, Nottingham, Nottingham Trent and Warwick. Placements are available for 10, 11 or 12 months and intended for those students who have a year out in industry. Options are available for students considering an internship between their final two years.

Job Description
===============

After a short induction period, interns will be expected to take on a property manager role. As well as managing the office and facilities, the appropriate candidate must ensure efficient management of clients properties, which are rented out to students in local universities.

Typical tasks will include:

- identifying potential clients
- approaching potential clients and arranging a sales meeting
- processing legal documents once a new deal is agreed
- collating details of properties prior to rental
- taking an active role in overall brand management
- promoting managed properties
- liaising with potential tenants
- preparing tenancy agreements
- acting as a point of contact to existing tenants
- preparing management accounts

In many cases, interns are offered full time management positions upon graduation.

The company is part of the Smarter Group, responsible for pushing entrepreneurship amongst youngsters. Talented individuals will be given the opportunity to work on other businesses within the group.
