TV Intern at Rockfeedback

We're looking for young, creative and dedicated people with an interest in vital new music and media, for a rolling, month-long internship at rockfeedback.tv. A successful candidate would have an active interest in seeing the workings of a modern TV production company, straddling the divide between both online and more traditional broadcast. The month's internship will give an overview of the entire process - from the filming and recording a live show, through ingest, becoming familiar with Final Cut Pro (FCP) editing software, multiclip editing, media-syncing, metadata and library organisation, final delivery and digital encoding. On-shoot experience will include promotion, production, boom-operation, sound-recording and camerawork. The internship will be incredibly broad in scope, and will suit somebody with a genuine passion for music, and the desire to go into video, especially as either crew, producer or editor. In the same, small office we also have our live promotions, running festival stages and clubnights, and our online magazine, running editorial features and reviews. The day-to-day activity of the internship will be very much FCP-led - the ingest and organisation of material, and the setting up and syncing of multiclip sequences - so the main part of the role will give valuable experience in the role of Assistant Editor. Final Cut Pro experience would be a definite plus, but not a necessity.
