Journalist Intern at Community upon Thames

We're looking for someone who has an interest in writing/ journalism to join our newsdesk team at Community upon Thames.

Community upon Thames is a new online community-hub for the London Boroughs of Richmond & Kingston upon Thames. We have an exciting secret-news section where users submit opinions, comments and articles. 

This Intern would be required to take part in the vetting process of these submitted pieces, but would also have the freedom to write and publish their own pieces of local news (in any topic).

From time to time, the intern may be asked to report on specific events in the local area or at other significant places of interest.

We are a new social enterprise and therefore are looking for someone with the imagination and drive to also take part in the direction of our business. An intern would be able to take part in any of our activities.

We are very flexible on hours and can offer both part and full-time work. We have a spacious office and can offer some expenses paid. We can also be flexible on our start date.
