Internships at Exploring Community Inc

Bus 52 is a fifty-two week (year-long) trip around the United States in a converted school bus seeking inspiring stories of overcoming obstacles in communities all over the country. Five young people will travel to every continental state and create video profiles of the people they interview and upload these videos as they go along with corresponding articles and photos. The project’s purpose is to show that in every kind of community, there are people who approach problems affecting their own communities in new and innovative ways. Whether in a big city, small town, or rural area, Bus 52 will use emerging technologies and social media to bring stories of success in the face of challenge to an audience not always exposed to such challenges.
