ChestertheGiantCity cic is a community interest company that encourages individuals, businesses, communities and third sector organisations to take and active and creative part in the regeneration of Chester and surrounding area. We encourage said individuals and organisations to become involved in a modern interpretation of Chester's mediaeval tradition of Giant building. We are developing this unique selling proposition to create and enhance events and Festivals across the district. On 20th & 21st June 2009 twenty four communities built 14' Giants and took them out onto the streets of Chester as part of the Midsummer Watch Parade.
